Poetic Notes Journal

I’ve received an email from one of my only 3 feedburner subscribers, asking me why I’m not letting out a new article recently. It’s just that quantity doesn’t counts, but the quality of the articles, might they be of no sense to you, but for me, they do make very much sense. Especially the posts on this website of mine.

I’ve always thought why did I name it Poetic Notes, when I’m actually not only posting poems here, but other emotional aspects of mine, which my heart tells me to deliver to you. Shouldn’t I have named the domain like something else? Like emotionalthoughts.com? Well, I can’t do a thing about it, this is my domain, the domain that I ever wanted  to have for quiet some time, and here I am possessing it.

Now, you might think why you haven’t heard of this website yet anywhere or you might also wonder why I do not keep on promoting my feedburner feed all the time I’m posting up something. It’s just I do not like to promote my hobby. Poetry is my passion, and this website is my little play ground where I will write about my hobby and some emotional thoughts of mine which I want, and only wanna share here on this website, even my personal site doesn’t has that good content.

I don’t actually care of people like or dislike my content, what really counts is that I, personally like my content. Because if I don’t like it, why would I publish it anyway? And it’s a very important rule of blogging, that you need to like your own content, you need to be satisfied with it. Do you think that if the owner of a certain article or website dislikes his stuff, that there’s someone out there who would like it? If even you, the creator truly, doesn’t likes what you are doing, then certainly, that emotion will be delivered to your audience, which will be your readers when it comes to the field of blogging.

To go deeper into it. Again, I’m not advertising Poetic Notes, not because I do not have the time to, but because I don’t want to. I don’t want to spread out to all sites like “Hey, I’ve got a poetry site, come over and drop by” No, I don’t do that. I won’t force people to come over. You come, if you like to. You come if you search me up in the search engine for certain stuff, but certainly, you are not led here by a link from a post or forum, unless someone else linked over here.

Yet, I do have a advertising medium on this website, and that is via Entrecards. My one and only way of promoting the site a little bit. I do drop in order to get more credits which I can make use of on my other blogs, but I’m not dropping for the sake of promoting Poetic Notes.

It’s a hobby of mine, and it remains a hobby.
